The location is great, though the rooms are really tiny, as is common in Japan. There’s no staff around to speak with, and everything is handled electronically at the lobby machine, including getting your keys and checking out. There’s no room service or towel replacement, and check-in isn’t allowed before 4 PM, so arriving early means finding somewhere to wait. Checking out was a hassle too. I had to contact them through the emergency line on the LINE app, but it wouldn’t let me get through. I would’ve rated the hotel higher if someone could at least change the towels or let me check in before 4 PM. I don’t care much about having the beds made.

The room itself was nice, but it was farther from the station than I wanted. To be fair, I didn’t choose the hotel. There’s no front desk, so if you need somewhere to store your luggage, this isn’t a good fit. For those two reasons, I wouldn’t stay again.
Comfortable enough for a short stay, though the air conditioner needs cleaning.
The room was fine, but there’s no service, just a machine for check-in and checkout, and the train station is quite far away. The worst part was the Wi-Fi. They said it was available, but it didn’t work, and there was no mention that rooms had no working Wi-Fi.
The price was good and the location convenient, though it's near sex shops and maid cafes. The balcony was nice, and everything seemed fairly new. The room and bathroom were very small, and I don't think a large suitcase would fit. The amenities were disappointing. There was a kettle but no mugs, tea, or coffee. I asked reception for mugs; they said they had none, then eventually gave me paper cups after I kept asking. I think mugs should be in the room. I also hadn't realized cleaning and towel changes cost extra, since that wasn't mentioned when I booked. I don't mind paying for cleaning, but free towel changes seem normal for a hotel, especially for stays over two nights. Staff spoke Chinese and seemed friendly and helpful to Chinese speakers, though I didn't experience that myself.
