Utatei Villa

The location was ideal, and the house was lovely and roomy.

There are two bedrooms and a living room for sleeping, though with a big group some parts may feel a bit inconvenient. The place was clean and in a handy location, and the living room TV had good sound. The host had thought of lots of details and even left a guide to local sights. There’s just one bathroom with a shower. I’d definitely recommend it.

We chose this place so the four of us, my brother and his wife along with my husband and me, could relax, have a drink, and talk while they were visiting Takayama. We live locally ourselves. Getting around was easy, with Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the old town, and the Miyagawa Morning Market nearby. The house was lovely, and we felt at home. The bathroom, toilet, and kitchen were spotless, and the kitchen had all the dishes and utensils we needed. We never met the owner face to face, but they were very kind and helpful over the phone. We had no concerns, and the stay was more comfortable than we expected. My brother and his wife were happy with it too, and said they’d like to return with friends. Thanks so much!
