Dash Living Kagurazaka

I wouldn't recommend booking this place. The room was tiny, with one single bed, despite claiming to fit two people, and it was expensive. The sound insulation was extremely poor, and you could hear moaning from the next room. There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste. I also got no check-in details by email and no reply from the host through Agoda messages.

We stayed at this Dash Living for ten nights. The apartment was clean, and its modern, minimalist design made for a pleasant stay. But it's a bit far from many of Tokyo's main attractions, so getting around took longer. The bed was quite soft, which might suit some people, but I didn't find it comfortable to sleep on. We could hear footsteps and conversations from the hallway and lobby, so the soundproofing could be better. The hairdryer was another problem. After a few minutes of use, power to the entire apartment would cut out. It happened every time, even when we tried different outlets, and nobody provided a solution during our stay. :(

We stayed at DashLiving Kagurazaka for two months. Kagurazaka was a peaceful neighborhood with great access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, and the apartment's modern design, layout, and attractive flooring appealed to us. The bathroom was spacious with good storage and excellent shower pressure. Air conditioning in every room helped a lot during the summer. For a long stay, though, several things were difficult. The sofa and bed were poor quality, so relaxing and sleeping were hard. The den ceiling was low, making the cramped office space awkward to use. Neighbors, especially those above us, were disruptive through the poor soundproofing. The curtains weren't blackout curtains and let in too much light, making it hard to sleep. Building upkeep was also an issue. Trash piled up at the entrance and attracted rats. Cleaning was inconsistent, waste disposal was poorly managed, and the narrow entrance often looked untidy, with cleaning supplies left out. WiFi in the bedrooms was unreliable, and the provided fixes didn't help. The kitchen was missing basics like a salad bowl and coffee maker, and some appliances felt flimsy or unsafe. The washer had no hot water option, and drying clothes was inconvenient. DashLiving Kagurazaka has a great location and stylish apartment design, but poor building management, subpar furniture, and limited amenities make it unsuitable for extended stays. Short-term visitors may find it adequate, but long-term guests could face significant challenges.
