IWAYAN and ZYOTI from the cafe deserve a special mention. They made us feel welcome and appreciated, and their big smiles made each morning better. We really enjoyed getting to know them and spending time with them. The hotel staff were fantastic, respectful, professional, and provided impeccable service. I'd highly recommend staying here. Five stars for the team!

We had breakfast on the second floor every morning, and the food was delicious. Sylvain served us on several of those mornings and was phenomenal each time. He was friendly and upbeat, and I really appreciated the conversations he had with us, especially with my grandfather about Shinjuku, Tokyo, and his move from the US to Japan. I brought my mother and grandfather to Japan for their first visit and chose Kimpton Shinjuku for our seven-day trip. The hotel was clean and had good amenities, but the service stood out most. The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, opening doors and elevators for the three of us with a smile. I'd recommend the hotel and Sylvain for an enjoyable, smooth stay in Japan.

The concierge helped us find things to do between plans and choose some amazing restaurants. The location worked perfectly for reaching Shinjuku's many good restaurants and the train station. We loved the rooms and their gorgeous views. The staff were incredibly kind and chatty, and we all enjoyed the daily happy hour. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day too, and Wayan and jyoti were very helpful.

Our room was spotless and laid out really well, with housekeeping coming each day to make it up. The hotel allows pets, and it was amusing to see them being pushed in prams, carried, or tucked into bags. My wife fell in love with all of them, so that may cost me a few bob when we get home. We booked three nights through Luxury Escapes, with breakfast, a five-course dinner, and cocktails from 1700 to 1800 on the 16th floor included. Check-in was easy. Since we arrived at 1720, we went straight up for drinks and were warmly welcomed by the manager and staff. The service there and at dinner was exceptional. Courtesy, helpfulness, and great service were consistent across the staff.
