Petercat Hotel Insadong

There’s a water filter, fridge and kitchen in the common areas on the lower floors. The front desk staff were kind, and Sam deserves a big thank you for helping when I couldn’t order an Uber. My room was budget friendly, with its own bathroom and a firm bed. It was clean enough, though definitely not the prettiest place. Be aware the toilet and shower share an old style Asian bathroom space.

The location was perfect. The rooms were decent, though nothing special.

I’d recommend this hostel in a traditional neighborhood of Seoul. The staff were so kind and ready to help whenever needed, and the accommodation was pretty clean. They provided fresh furnishings every day. Rooms can be narrow, though. I had such a great journey here, thank you so much!

Ikseon-dong, Insa-dong and Myeong-dong are all walkable, as are several other attractions. Jongno 3(sam)-ga subway is nearby, with connections to other lines within 1-2 stops for reaching different parts of Seoul. Shops, restaurants and pharmacies are close too. The room had a large, comfortable bed, a small fridge, electric kettle, hair dryer and personal Wi-Fi hotspot. It was clean, and fresh towels and hygiene products were brought every day. Room cleaning was available on request. There’s also a microwave on the floor. The staff were welcoming and ready to answer questions or help with needs. Good value for money.
