Photo Park Guesthouse

The owner and his son were both really friendly and helped out with different things. It’s also well located near many of Seoul’s historical sights. For the price, I’d recommend staying here if you want to avoid the crazy rates at other guest houses.

The owner apologized after I complained, so I gave the service two stars. Beyond that, I wouldn’t book here. The place is shabby, the photos are very outdated, and the rooms are rarely cleaned. The bedding was so itchy I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. Save your money and look at a higher price point to avoid wasting time and money.

The rooftop view was superb. I could see Namsan tower and a beautiful sunset from there. The host was super kind and friendly too. He carried our luggage to the homestay, told us about good food and places nearby, and even offered to drive us to and from the airport. We really appreciated it. There are a lot of stairs and small hills to climb, which gets tiring. You can wait for the green bus at the crossing, but you have to walk there first, and then wait for it to come.

Seeing Namsan Tower lit up at night was really awesome! Photo Park was such a kind host. After the rain he helped dry the chairs outside, took some pictures of us, recommended good restaurants, and even got us bread for breakfast ❤ We want to come back!
