For 30,000 won a night, I stayed two nights and thought it was fair. At that price in Seoul, you can’t even get a night in a tent 😭. If you’re paying over 100,000 won a night, though, I can understand complaining lol. The room and bathroom were both tiny, but manageable. There were two fitted beds, a little balcony, and a decent TV. The bathroom was clean, though there wasn’t really a separate shower area, so you have to wash up standing by the toilet and sink. Wi-Fi worked fine, and the fridge had two free bottles of water. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, and towels, but no toothbrush, just one bar of soap. I didn’t use the common area, though I remember there being a water purifier. Convenience stores are nearby, and Daiso, the Korean dollar store, is close to Jongno 3-ga Station.

I’ve stayed here three times. The staff were nice, it was affordable, and it wasn’t too far from the train and bus stations. The rooms are small, as is the bathroom, with the toilet inside that same cramped space. Soundproofing is poor. A family with kids in rooms 501 and 502 was so noisy, even at 2 am.

Flights kept getting canceled during one of the strongest hurricanes in recent years in Hong Kong. We tried calling, emailing, and messaging the hotel to explain what was happening, but never got a reply. By the time we finally arrived, exhausted, they’d canceled our reservation and charged us for nights we couldn’t use, including the night we showed up. We asked them to work something out, such as a partial refund or letting us use the remaining nights. They refused everything, with no flexibility or empathy. We were left with no service after they’d taken our money. They ignored us during a natural disaster and treated us with disdain. It felt like outright theft, and the whole experience was a disgrace. This hotel is a scam: they don’t communicate, and when you need support, they shut the door in your face. The most shameful “hospitality” we’ve ever encountered.

There’s only one key set, and if you lock yourself out after 11PM, you’re stuck sleeping on the street. There’s no emergency contact number. The room was tiny and filthy, with hair and dust everywhere. The kettle was so dusty it looked like it had never been cleaned or used, and there was barely space to move around the bed. No room service either. The toilet and shower shared one tiny space, and you had to get a towel from reception every time because there wasn’t one in the room.

Our flights were canceled several times because of the hurricane in Hong Kong. We messaged the hotel over and over to let them know, but they never replied. When we finally arrived, they had already canceled our reservation and wouldn’t honor the paid nights we still had left, even though we arrived on Saturday and the stay was already covered. The staff were rude and dismissive, with no effort to help or show understanding. We lost money and were treated without respect or empathy during an already stressful situation. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend booking here if you expect even basic customer service.
