Eastin Hotel Vientiane

I spent 11 nights here to slow down and recover from my travels, and really enjoyed the stay. The staff were amazing, and I appreciated how flexible they were with extensions and requests. Thanks to Phone for taking such attentive care of the breakfast area, and to Jhon and the front desk team for handling my room requests. Breakfast runs late, until 11:30am, which suited me perfectly. The rooms were quiet in the evenings, and housekeeping did a very nice job. There's a Smart TV for Netflix, Amazon Prime and more. Room service costs the same as eating at the restaurant, and there's a free shuttle to and from Night Market/Namphou Park. They have an app for requesting services. It was annoying to get used to at first, but ended up being handy for the shuttle and ordering amenities.

The room was decent, though it could use better soundproofing. The hotel is outside the city center, but there’s a free taxi from the hotel every hour. Breakfast had lots of choices and was good, and I enjoyed the rooftop bar too. Staff service was good. For the price, it's a good deal.

The sunsets from our balcony over the Mekong river, with Thailand on the other side, were iconic. My wife booked Eastin Riverside and picked a great hotel. This was one of the best maintained places we've stayed in since arriving in Laos. I'm a hotel maintenance manager back home and pretty fussy, but couldn't find anything I considered a shortcoming. The team's service was wonderful. Everyone was pleasant, approachable, eager to help, and there as soon as we needed them. The included breakfast was outstanding. We were even glad to find eggs Benedict, a treat from home, and had it twice. The hotel app made it easy to order room service and amenities, with little effort and less of a language barrier. Room service was pricier than most places in Laos, but it came promptly and was excellent quality. I believe you get what you pay for, and we thought it was worth it. When we were feeling the effects of the previous towns' activities, Eastin happily changed our booking to give us an extra day to rest before moving on. I'd definitely recommend it to family and friends.

We had a deluxe room with a river view, and it was absolutely stunning. The room was big, clean, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was nice, with a large shower, good pressure, and hot water. Breakfast was excellent, though anyone expecting a Western-style spread might be a little disappointed. There was bread, cheese, salami, yogurt and more, plus eggs cooked to order. The small pool area only had three sunbeds, but it was never busy. You can order room service through the hotel app, which also has lots of useful information. The rooftop bar and restaurant have plenty to offer, and I'd rate them among the best in vientiane.
