I can’t say much about the resort itself, but I know the wedding reception hall. It fits around 250-300 people, and the food is delicious. The rates are a bit higher than at other places, and you can’t bring in bites. Management is friendly, though the owner is a muslim.

It’s an okay place for 1-2 nights, with quick access to Sigiriya and safari. The pool is fine, but not very big, and seeing straight into it from the restaurant feels weird. The restaurant acoustics are horrible. The hotel is clean, but has no atmosphere.

It felt like the hotel might still be under renovation, and it was very, very dirty. We even found a "cutter" on the swimming pool floor. The restaurant is cold and right at the entrance, like being in a train station. Bad experience. There are many better places in Habarana.

I had a comfortable short stay and enjoyed the good meals while visiting the Dambulla Caves. The Danawwa Resort team were excellent throughout, flexible, and accommodating.

I’m from India and stayed for one day. The rooms were clean and nice, with a balcony, and the food tasted awesome. It was comfortable staying here, and the staff served meals kindly and with a smile. Mr.krishatna was especially helpful to us in the restaurant.
