Dar Limoun

We haven’t stayed here, but have used the facilities. The third-floor toilet was clean and well looked after, and the restaurant is on that same floor. The currency exchange is downstairs, and it has the best price, according to our experience. The staff and other people seemed friendly.

The staff made this weeklong stay feel like being looked after by family. When our little one arrived sick, the restaurant manager recommended a nearby child specialist. The doctor and clinical staff were outstanding, and they did the needed checks and provided medication quickly. Everyone at the hotel, from reception to the kitchen and laundry, was polite and helpful throughout. Our room was a good size, if a little tight, and the ceiling was low. We did have a balcony with a really lovely view. The hotel is within walking distance of Marrakech’s famous attractions, too. I’d absolutely recommend it for the caring staff and homely atmosphere.

We got our money without a very long wait, and the exchange rate seemed fair. They didn’t ask to see a passport. If you need local currency in Marrakech, I’d recommend coming here.

We’ve only used this as a tour pickup spot. It’s right on the main market square, with plenty of space outside for groups to gather, though it can get busy when others are doing the same. Food service doesn’t start until at least 9am.
