Calling this a five-star riad doesn't fit. It felt more like a three-star BnB. Our room had no windows, either to the outside or inside, and the shower kept switching between hot and cold. The room was clean, but clearly had seen better years. There was nobody at reception during business hours. Breakfast was supposed to start at 08:30, but it didn't, since not everyone had arrived yet. The rooftop had no service, and breakfast was basic, with filter coffee and no one asking whether we wanted tea. The location is the one real advantage. If you need somewhere to crash with basic amenities, it works well.

Hakim welcomed us and explained things about the city and beyond right from the start. The riad is near the Medina, in a quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts every day, prepared by the ladies there. The kind, honest staff helped with everything we needed. We stayed four nights and would recommend it to anyone hoping for a great experience in Morocco. Thanks for an amazing stay 🙏

We arranged our airport taxis both ways, and the rides were friendly and hassle-free. The minimal decor, welcoming staff, and outstanding breakfast made the stay so enjoyable and memorable. It was close enough to the main sights for full days exploring, yet quiet enough to enjoy peaceful evenings afterward.

We spent a lovely long weekend at Riad Louhou in April 2025. Sophie was a great help both before we arrived and during the stay. The riad is in a quiet part of the Medina, close to everything, and we really liked it. Breakfast was amazing and fresh, served on the rooftop. Amlou was new to us, but we liked it so much that we ended up buying some to take home. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, a very nice place to stay!

The riad is right in the middle of the medina, and it’s small with lovely decor. My family and I have just come home from another fabulous stay. We’ve tried a few riads, and this one is definitely near the top of our list. We were lucky enough to meet the owner this time, too.
