Hostel Kif-Kif

The staff are friendly and welcoming, which seemed to make the other guests friendly too. I met lots of people who'd returned several times and said this was the best place to stay, and I agree. The free breakfast, clean restrooms, good toilets and showers, and hot water that never ran out all added to the stay. The terrace has breathtaking sunrises. The location is ideal for shopping in the Medina, seeing the city or visiting nearby villages. The square is a few minutes' walk away for fresh juice or a decent restaurant. There's a large market with alcohol not far off, and taxis are easy to find on a quick walk outside the Medina. It's also close to a common excursion pickup spot, and the hostel offers excursion deals with pickups arranged.

The balcony was lovely and roomy, and the bathroom and showers were clean. Service was good, and breakfast was simple but nice. The location is great, so this is a decent hostel if you're passing through and expect to be out a lot. Maybe we got a bad room, but ours was very dark, downstairs on the first floor, with no natural light and an extremely dim room light. The mattress had a deep, obvious dip in the middle, as if hundreds of people had slept on it, and the pillow had no life left in it. At least the pillow protector had been washed.

I came from Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, and stayed here twice during my Marrakech trip with two friends. The place was clean everywhere, in both the shared areas and the rooms, and the breakfast was delicious. It was easy to meet people from all over and share cultures in a pleasant, clean setting. All the staff were incredibly friendly, including the girl, and they made us feel comfortable. I especially want to mention the guy working there: he was attentive, professional and so kind that he felt like a friend. I'll absolutely stay here again on my next visit. I give it five stars across the board, and even that doesn't feel like enough. I recommend visiting beautiful Marrakech and staying here to meet the wonderful people I met on this trip. It's a journey I'll always remember and hold close, for the people I met along the way, Marrakech's magic and the kindness here.

The cleaning lady, Ms. Minaj, was cheerful and kind, and Mrs. Karim and Mr. Karim were so welcoming with excellent service. The hospitality, service and cleanliness were all top-notch. My regards to them.
