I've never had an experience like this in all my travels: a five-star hotel with a phone number that doesn't work, staff who never reply to emails, and an ignorant, arrogant manager. I even tried reaching the hotel managers on LinkedIn because I couldn't get anyone to answer. No reply there either. I paid the hotel an extra $100 so I could cancel my reservation 72 hours ahead and be reimbursed, since I wasn't sure I'd be going to Marrakech. To my dismay, they told me online I wouldn't get a refund. Calls to the hotel got no answer, the phone number didn't work and my emails went unanswered. I called the group Christophe leroy, which owns the hotel in France, to get a working number. They gave me an agency number for reservations, but the operator yelled at me and told me to call the hotel directly, where nobody had answered. Each person I reached passed me to someone else. Where was customer comfort in all this? Nowhere. My problem is still unresolved. I'm really disappointed and will make sure everyone knows.

We booked five months ahead, only to find the hotel had been reserved by the national football team. We had to stay somewhere else, and Mr. Leroy, who I consider a first-class con artist, and his team charged us €550 and never refunded it. We've been trying to resolve this for a year. Avoid this place completely. It's a shame the rating system requires at least one star, because this deserves zero.

The brunch is delicious, and the barbecues are good too. It's a great place to relax and feel good, with a gorgeous pool and incredible loungers, including beds right by the water.

The setting is very pleasant, but it was deserted and had a heavy atmosphere. The food was very average, and we ended up giving it all to the stray cats in the middle of the restaurant. Avoid!
