Riad New Bahia

Zaid made our stay easier by helping us with all sorts of things, and was incredibly hospitable. The riad's location is excellent, and we thought it was good value. A couple of things could be better: some parts of the room needed more cleaning, and the AC made a loud, strange sound all night.

We slept comfortably in a quiet room with air conditioning. The Rhiad is in a very good spot, about 8 minutes from the various suck and very close to Bahia Palace. The place is nice, and the staff are polite and always smiling. Zaid was our guardian angel, always available, especially at night. A few suggestions: the WiFi is slow and doesn't work in the rooms. It should be clear that breakfast is savory. The price list is right to have in the room for bottled water or dinner, and I think there should be a trusted taxi driver who picks up guests at the Rhiad for trips beyond the Airport too.

I've stayed in much nicer places in Marrakech. This hotel really needs refurbishing, and I wouldn't choose it over another Riad. The staff seem to try hard, but the place just isn't great. Sorry this isn't more positive.

We slept better here than anywhere else during our time in Morocco. It's a quiet place at night, just outside the busy center of the medina, though still close by. The family who run this riad are so kind. They accommodated our gluten-free and vegetarian breakfast requests, and the hammam and spa on the roof were nice. The rooftop views of the city are amazing. I don't understand the bad reviews. Maybe people mixed this up with Riad Bahia down the street, but they're two different places. The family here are so nice. Shukran!
