We booked Riad Ayni at the last minute for three nights in Marrakesh and were glad we did. Mohamed, Abdul, and their assistant made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was great. The riad felt homey, with a peaceful place to unwind after days of exploring, and they also offer laundry service. It's about a 30-minute walk to the main square, but there are plenty of food options and shops nearby. Finding the riad could be tricky without phone service, though we had no trouble. At night, go around the Medina because they close the inside passage if you try to walk through. I'd recommend staying here.

Mohamed was so helpful, and the breakfast he made for us was delicious and generous. The staff were wonderful too, and our room was very clean :)

The Medina setting means you need to watch out for motorbikes speeding through the neighborhood among pedestrians. Marrakech itself is colorful and crowded, with plenty of places to take wonderful photos. We stayed for a week with our family. The rooms were small but cozy, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were always polite and helpful, especially Mohamed. We did have to ask for clean towels every day, and the doors creak and make noise all the time.

On our third trip to Marrakesh, this was probably one of the best places we've stayed. We had a problem with the AC, but Mohammad and Abdu quickly found a fix. The staff were amazing, kind, funny, and so accommodating. Breakfast was great, and there's a street with traditional food and a dessert place just a five-minute walk away. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to the staff for everything!
