Riad El Jadide

We loved the traditional Moroccan feel, the very clean riad, and the hospitality from Najib, Salwa, and the rest of the staff. With private rooms, it works really well for families. The surrounding area is old and needs city maintenance. Contact the staff before you arrive so they can meet you and guide you through it.

Everything was close by, the owners and staff were friendly, and the rooms and shared spaces were clean and comfortable. I’d happily stay here again.

Getting to the riad takes a bit of figuring out, but we felt safe once there. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, breakfast was great, and Najib and the rest of the staff were very hospitable. A wonderful experience, and I recommend it.

We felt right at home during our week at Riad El Jadide. It’s in an authentic local neighborhood, a little away from the touristy parts, so we got a taste of everyday life. There’s fresh orange juice a five minute walk away near the Kechich pharmacy, for just a few dirhams. The staff were exceptional, attentive, and always ready to help make the stay go smoothly. The riad is well organized too. When we needed taxis, the staff arranged everything, with drivers waiting beside the riad and reasonable fares without surprises. It made things much easier, though walking from the riad is an experience in itself. After the bustle of the medina, the place felt like a peaceful haven. The setting, organization, and especially the staff made for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Riad El Jadide.
