Riad Ilyan & Spa

I was glad I ended up booking this place. I had a perfect three-night stay. The street was fairly quiet, though it was only five minutes from one of the biggest souks and ten minutes from the main square. The riad looks amazing and was kept very clean. Ayoub and Ahmed made me feel like I was a guest in someone's home. They gave me great advice for Marrakech, and I had a lot of fun chatting over tea with them. Service was 10/10.

Ahmed really made my stay memorable, always kind, attentive, and ready to help. Dounia, Khadija, and Manel were welcoming and friendly too, and together the team made the place feel warm. Riad Ilyan & Spa is beautiful and peaceful, right in the heart of the Medina in Marrakesh, so getting around to explore was easy. I had an amazing stay in July and highly recommend it for both the charm and the staff.

As a first-time solo traveler, I felt at home at Riad Ilyan. Ahmed, Ayoub, and Manal were kind, welcoming, and always around when I needed them. They helped me plan my three days and made sure I felt supported throughout. The riad is clean, beautiful, and authentically Moroccan, and the food was incredible. It's a 15-minute walk to Jamaa El Fna, with plenty of restaurants nearby. I had an unforgettable stay and highly recommend it, especially if you're traveling alone.

The rooms are on the small side, though that's typical of a riad. The location is good, about a 10-minute walk from the central Medina, and I'd happily stay again. Inside it's beautiful, and breakfast on the rooftop had a decent selection. Staff were always smiling and very helpful with our luggage and taxi service.
