Riad Winarouze

Ouissal welcomed me at reception, then Abdullaghani served me a tasty breakfast in the morning on a lovely terrace overlooking the activity on the main road. Both spoke English and French and were very willing to help. They also have a cat roaming around. It's a lovely place to stay, better-looking than the pictures, at the edge of the old town with easy access from the main road.

Elhabib made our stay so easy and lovely. He was always there to answer our questions, helped arrange our laundry, and helped us find someone to make shipping easier. He was an excellent host, and I don't have enough words for how much he did for us. The food was good, and the location is convenient. Jemaa El Fna is a 20-minute walk away, and it's a good pickup and drop-off spot for excursions. There's also a great street food restaurant 9 minutes away on foot, with tasty local food, low prices, and lovely staff. Our time in Marrakech was amazingly beautiful, and this Riad was a big part of it. If I come back, I'd choose it again without a second thought. Good price, location, and staff with good hearts.

This riad is near the exit from the medina, which worked well for our organized car pickup. Habib was kind and easy to approach, and helped with everything we asked. On our second day we couldn't get to breakfast, so he packed it for us, which was really helpful. We loved staying here!

There are two convenience stores right outside the door and a laundry shop nearby. The hotel is in the Kasbah area, about a 20-minute walk from Jemaa El Fna, with a bus stop directly in front. It's by the road, but I didn't hear any cars from my room, and it's away from the busy street. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had the basics, including towels, shampoo, and soap. Breakfast on the rooftop was good. The internet sometimes slowed down or stopped working.
