Riad Zinnha

Yasmina is full of useful local advice, including tips on cheap, reliable taxi drivers. The neighborhood can feel intimidating, so stick to the main road and know your way. While the riad is in the Medina, places like the Souks are at least 1km away, which was the main downside for us. Yasmina and Mustafa, a lovely French/Algerian couple who live in the riad, run it with two equally friendly employees. Their hospitality made our time in Marrakech so pleasant, and we felt part of the family. Our room was small but cozy, clean, and nicely decorated, with everything we needed: aircon, heating, and hot water, which was welcome in the cold weather. The riad's cook made delicious, original Moroccan meals. There's also a rooftop terrace overlooking the Jardin de Bab El Khmiss. A warm, family atmosphere and very good value for money.

The hosts were lovely, but the rooms are really small. Definitely not a good fit if you're claustrophobic.

It's in the northern part of the Medina and difficult to find, so it's best to use the shuttle service. The riad itself is cozy and very clean, with beautiful rooms and incredibly caring hosts. It has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, e-bike rental, and a superb breakfast.

Yasmina welcomed me so warmly at Riad Zinnha, and she was helpful throughout my wonderful stay. She took care of my late arrival efficiently, even though I'd had difficulties with late arrivals on overnight flights at other riads. She was always available with advice on my excursion ideas and help planning them. Even when you know Marrakech well, that kind of help is welcome, especially during this particular period related to Covid. Everything was perfect, with nothing to complain about. Thank you Yasmina for your hospitality, service, and delicious meals. I highly recommend it!
