The rooftop is beautiful, and I’d definitely come back. The price, location, and staff were all perfect. The room was very small, which was the only real downside. The shared bathrooms were mostly clean, and having a sink in our room was a big plus.

The rooftop terrace was great for sunrise, and we really enjoyed breakfast there. It’s right in the middle of the Medina. The rooms were comfortable, though hot water on the top floor came and went, so the ground floor bathroom was a better bet. The AC doesn’t blow warm air either, so ask for an extra blanket.

The team made us feel so welcome and were friendly and helpful throughout. On the day we left, they even prepared breakfast earlier than usual, which we really appreciated. We could leave our bags after checkout too, making our last day much easier. The hostel is in an amazing spot in the heart of Marrakech, just a short walk from the main sights and souks. Had a great stay and highly recommend it.

The lack of room service was the deal breaker for me. I wanted to stay a week and only had cash, so after finding the place on booking .com and seeing the offer to pay before arrival, I went by to ask if I could pay cash. They wouldn’t honor my discount, so I paid the room price as listed. I had the only triple “comfort room,” up on the terrace. It was warm, with temperatures in the low 40s, but the AC managed. Being on the terrace meant noise when guests stayed up late and when staff started setting up for breakfast early. Breakfast got old after a week, though it was included and edible. There was no room service, and I had to ask for toilet rolls. The shower and sink drained badly, which got pretty gross by the end of the week. With no shade, the terrace was mostly unusable during the day. Still, it was a good week if you can overlook the annoyances.
