Bella Donna Hotel

We spent 10 nights here, and by the end I was exhausted. We had to pay out of pocket for basics the hotel should have provided, and the stay ruined what should have been a straightforward visit. Bella Donna was a complete disappointment. The room was freezing, with no heating or extra blankets. Wi-Fi was unavailable for the first 4 days, so we used our own roaming data and paid extra. The room was also dirty throughout our stay. Towels came stained, so we bought our own; the rug smelled awful, and the toilet seat was broken. There was no soundproofing. I heard footsteps, conversations, coughing, and even bodily noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. When my partner was sick, they had to go to a pharmacy at night to buy earplugs so they could sleep. Most staff were indifferent or unhelpful, either cold or uninterested. David was the one exception and at least tried to help. For the same price in Chișinău, you can find somewhere cleaner, quieter, and more professionally run. Avoid this hotel.

Right by the central market, and such a cute, cozy room. The front desk women were really sweet. For the money, it's hard to ask for more. I have no complaints, and you won't regret booking here.

The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and the price felt fair for a simple place to stay. My room was small, but had what I needed: a TV, private bathroom, and ventilation. Getting around was easy, with a bus stop nearby and the city center close by. There's also a supermarket just a few steps away, which made things convenient.

We had a confirmed reservation, but the hotel refused to let us check in. First they asked us to wait, then the receptionist said we needed to exchange our money because we didn't have Moldovan lei. When we came back with lei, we were told there were no rooms available, though they could offer another one at a higher price. It was outrageous to be turned away from the room we'd booked and offered a more expensive option instead. I hope the necessary action is taken over this situation.
