The rooms were much nicer than I expected from a three-star hotel, with a really comfortable bed and everything very clean. I enjoyed my stay overall. Check-in was the one unpleasant part. A blonde lady, who I think works in the restaurant, was sitting at reception. She looked at me in a strange, judging way and said she wasn't at reception, even though she was sitting there. It felt unprofessional and left me with the impression I wasn't welcome. In the morning, two young people at reception were polite and helpful, with great customer service. They made the rest of my stay much better. I hope the hotel pays attention to what happened, since experiences like that can spoil a first impression.

The mattress sagged and wasn’t comfortable, and the blanket was much too warm. They didn’t have a lighter one to swap in. There was also a smoking area directly below the room, so smoke and noise carried on late at night. Breakfast was meant to be included, but wasn’t, and the choices were limited and overpriced. I didn’t feel the stay was worth the cost.

The restaurant meal was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, and breakfast was tasty too. The hotel is close to the cathedral and Triumphal Arch, with a pleasant park or boulevard out front, yet the spot itself felt peaceful. My room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the minibar, shower and toiletries were all good. Staff were warm and helpful. I was exhausted and struggling with Russian, but they managed to help me in English. I slept well each night after exploring the city, and it was a great place for my first trip to Chisinău.

The ground-floor restaurant is very good, and the modern room had all the essentials I needed. It works well for a private visit or a business trip, with everything I needed while traveling for work.
