Inle Cottage Boutique Hotel

The staff were so kind and took great care of me. I was comfortable in the spacious, nice room, which had hot water. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, toast, and Shan noodles. Absolutely stunning place.

The neighborhood was quiet, and there are a few places to eat within walking distance. The location was good, though getting there from the bus meant about a 25 minute tuk tuk ride. Red Mountain winery is close. There’s no heat in the rooms, so ask for another blanket if you’re there in December, it’s cold.

We stayed 10 days and would definitely come back if we return to the lake. The wooden bungalows are cozy, the garden is green, and the whole place has a very warm feel. Staff were incredibly attentive and helped with every question and request, even sending postcards. Breakfast was huge and delicious, with both European and local dishes, more than we could eat. Since almost no restaurants in the area are open now, we also ordered lunch at the hotel, and they adapted many dishes to our requests. When power goes out, staff switch on the generator right away, and the Internet works well.

The room was in good condition for the price, and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was prepared with a lot of care.
