Ub City Hotel

There’s a 24-hour convenience store in the hotel lobby, but at night the streets can get loud, with drunk people and party crowds screaming, laughing, and shouting. I didn’t feel safe and couldn’t sleep. I stayed in two different rooms on different floors on two nights, and heard the same kinds of noise each time, from the left, right, and across the hall. Women were screaming and loudly moaning. They weren’t shy about it. It felt like some kind of love hotel.

We stayed a week, and the room kept filling with smoke from people smoking. The bathroom and other facilities were in poor shape, with water leaking onto the floor. We booked a room with a kitchen but were given only one pan and a spoon, so we had to buy everything else ourselves. They also charged hidden fees for holding the room for a few hours before we arrived. We wanted to move to another hotel, but had already paid the full price. I can’t recommend this place.

I attended a wedding there. The service was okay, though the waiter missed some people at my table. They were flexible enough to make vegan food for me, and it was okay.

The place was dirty and very noisy at night. Cigarette smoke came into the room from other rooms, the bathroom ceiling leaked, and the Wi-Fi barely worked.
