The location was great, with a metro stop nearby, lots of places to eat close by, and a quick Uber to MEX airport costing $110MXN. The A/C worked well, which is a plus since many other places don’t offer it. They include a small free breakfast, or you can pay a little extra for a proper one, and that upgrade is worth it. The price was amazing, so I can forgive the issues, but I’d personally pay $50MXN/night more to have them sorted. There was no mini fridge in the room, the bed was harder and less comfortable than I’d hoped, and the water pressure on the 6th floor could’ve been better. A few small upgrades would make this place truly great. It has a lot of potential.

The rooms are very good, and the metro is just a few steps away. For only 5 pesos, you can get to the historic center, and weekday rooms cost under 30 CAD. The Uber to the airport is only 20 CAD. I highly recommend it.

The sheets had holes, and the front desk staff seemed grumpy. They also insist on sending housekeeping even when you ask them not to come that day, whether you need privacy, want to sleep, or have another reason. The customer service was poor.

The rooms seem somewhat updated, and the price is low, with the Metro nearby. But I couldn't sleep properly because the place was so noisy. You can hear people in the next rooms, including shouting, especially from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and the pillows weren't good. The curtains were dirty, too. If you're just looking for a cheap hotel, it's fine, but I'd look elsewhere if you want to rest.

I had a pretty pleasant stay, and the location and service were great. The hotel does feel a bit dated, though, and could use some modern comforts. One elevator stopped working that night, but they repaired it. I also had to ask reception for the Wi-Fi password, and there weren't clear instructions for using the phone.
