The lobby is a work of art, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the hotel is tidy and very nice, right in the center of morelia.

The beds had termites, and there were roaches too. The hotel needs cleaning and renovation.

At the price they're charging, this hotel is a complete disaster. It presents itself as four stars, but two stars would be the best case. The building hasn't been renovated in the last 30 years, and the furniture is at least 20 years old. They don't provide basic things like a hair dryer, and there are no lamps for the bedside table or desk. To switch the room lights on or off, you have to get up and walk to the middle of the room. Even the style makes it look like the whites were bought 10 years ago.

The building fits the city perfectly, and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. I felt so well looked after, and the place was ridiculously romantic. I'm hoping I can get married here or something silly like that, even though I'm not engaged and don't even have a girlfriend. It does lack a little privacy: as far as I know, it's one floor, with all the rooms centered around the lobby. That didn't bother me at all.

When I had a small bathroom issue, they got me into another room right away. The service was really nice, the tours they offered sounded good, and the place was quiet and well located.
