Between the old town and its culture, Hotel Santa Cruz made for a wonderful stay. The service was exciting, and the rooms were beautiful, calm, and comfortable. I'll definitely return soon.

I left because there were ticks on the beds. The lady at the front desk, which was literally a school desk, was very rude and got really nervous when I asked about bugs in the room.

We arrived on Saturday, June 16, 2017, just before the Guelaguetza, expecting the room we had reserved a week earlier. The hotel had filled every room and didn't honor our confirmed booking. Nobody came to help, and they took no responsibility for the mix-up. We had to pay more to find somewhere else that day during peak season.

My partner and I were at the hotel during one of the recent earthquakes. The owners and staff were attentive and helpful throughout. I liked the hotel.
