NH San Luis Potosi

Guests could pick up complimentary pastries and other interesting snacks near the front desk, which was a nice touch. The stay itself left me completely underwhelmed because amenities listed online weren’t provided. We also called for bedding for the sleeper sofa and got just one flat sheet. An Uber ride to the airport takes about 25 to 30 minutes.

I usually stay at NH hotels in different cities, but this one didn’t resemble any of the others I’ve visited. The towels were disgusting: yellow stained and grey, so I didn’t want to use them. The front desk was polite and acknowledged the issue, then sent a fresh set. The next day, they took away the good towels and left a set that was worse than the first. I raised it again, but although they were courteous, nothing was done, and by then I was already leaving the hotel. NH’s managing corporation needs to address this serious issue. They should be ashamed to give customers towels like that.

The staff are the only reason I’m giving it one star. Everything else was dirty: the room, bathroom, floor, sheets, and awful towels. The TV was small, too. I was glad I didn’t have to pay because the airline covered it. On another visit here I stayed somewhere else that cost a lot less and was cleaner. I wouldn’t stay here if I were paying.

The modern room and friendly reception staff were good. The restaurant could have been cleaner, and its staff seemed short on enthusiasm. Breakfast was nothing special. San Luis Potosí has nightclubs that can be horribly noisy, but although this NH is outside downtown SLP, it’s sheltered from that noise.
