Arcadia Resort Desaru

The bedsheet had stains, the outside of the house wasn't well maintained, and the pool was dirty. Service was very poor and slow. My refundable deposit took almost two weeks to come back, and I think they wouldn't have returned it if I hadn't followed up. They also entered the wrong deposit amount. Only after I chased them again did they transfer it. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Our hiking team enjoyed this place as a Desaru escape. The house has four spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom, and can comfortably fit six to ten people. It also has a self-cleaning swimming pool, broadband internet, karaoke set, two fridges, an electric stove, and a mini pool table.

A nice spot to unwind with family or friends and get away from the busy city. One night really doesn't feel like enough, so I'd suggest staying at least two. We'd definitely like to come back.

I enjoyed the stay, but the owner never sent back my deposit. They told me what my utility bill was and how much I should get refunded, then never transferred the money. I tried contacting them several times without success. Take this as a warning. There are plenty of nice places in Bandar Penawar, like Escadia, so find somewhere better.
