The service was friendly, and the staff can speak basic English. Since it’s a one-star hotel, the furnishings are generally simple. There’s a kettle and two glasses in the room, but no fridge or microwave, which is typical of the Asian-style setup.

There’s a dobi shop within walking distance. The entrance is on the first floor, though, so you have to use the stairs, which isn’t suitable for older or disabled guests. There’s no hot or cold water filter dispenser or laundry service, and guests have to take their own trash out.

We spent 4D3N in a triple room. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the waterfront, and Mom's Laksa Petanak is a three-minute walk away, serving local food. The receptionist was really nice and friendly, and reception is open 24 hours with CCTV. We got two bottles of mineral water, one towel and soap. There was a dressing table with two chairs, a hot shower, and an old-style TV in the room. The toilet was a bit old, there was no hairdryer, and no hangers in the cupboard. You can ask reception for an iron, though I’m not sure whether there’s a charge. There’s a refrigerator in the hallway and a living room with another old-style TV :D

Staff were friendly and the room was fine. Everything else was superb, but the bath towel really needs improvement. It’s so small and thin that it gets soaked through every time. 😢

The location is good, but they asked the customer for a higher deposit and didn’t give a receipt. If you’re a foreigner staying here, ask for a receipt when you pay the deposit.
