Stayokay Den Haag - Hostel

I was happy with the hostel itself. The facilities all worked, the rooms were very clean, the heating was on, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a shared room with five other women, though, and one guest came back around 3 a.m. on two nights in a row. She made a lot of noise with the lockers and lights, and talked loudly to her friend and herself. When the rest of us reacted, she got even louder. I know that wasn’t the hostel or staff’s fault. As a small precaution, it might help to remind guests about quiet hours when they check in.

The common area was cozy, and my room was clean and nicely designed. The staff were pleasant and the instructions easy to follow. I found the ban on bringing in outside food and alcohol annoying, though I was only there for one day, so it didn’t affect me much.

The room was nice, though the ventilation was noisy, and the pasta arrived lukewarm. Check-in went really well, the breakfast was very good, and the location right by Den Haag HS station was excellent.

There’s lots of room to hang out, and the terrace is really cute. The centre of Den Haag is only a short walk away. The rooms were fine, but the toilet and shower felt cramped. The food wasn’t great, though it was alright.
