The train is only a short walk away, so getting around Oslo was easy. We stayed for more than a week and felt right at home. Everyone on staff was friendly, the breakfast was fresh and healthy, and the fitness facilities were world class, which makes sense given the hotel’s connection with Norway’s Olympic teams. It was a unique hotel and great value. We had a wonderful stay and will come back when we’re in Oslo this summer.

We really enjoyed unwinding by the lake and walking path nearby after a drive. The staff were lovely and friendly, and breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices. Free parking and a gym were both very handy on our trip. Our room was clean and fine for what we needed, though it could do with a bit of updating. That didn’t spoil our stay at all. A very good option for a short visit, especially if you need somewhere for one night.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and parking was free. It was also easy to get into the city center from this location.

We had a good stay here for a reasonable price. There’s a fitness room, and a forest area right nearby. Lunch and dinner were available at good prices, and breakfast was good too. Free parking was a big plus, especially since parking in Sentrum can cost up to 50-60 euro per day, which adds a lot to the bill. Seeing the Norwegian sports youth around the company made me smile, and that experience was worth every cent. I’d strongly recommend staying here.

The bed was decent, but the showerhead in my room needs replacing soon. Noise is the bigger issue: you can hear neighbors use the taps or shower through the water pipes, and the ventilation carries sound from other rooms. If you want a quiet hotel room, this isn’t the place. But it’s very close to Sognsvann and the metro stop, so it works well if that’s what you’re after. Breakfast was okay. It seemed like the Norwegian style, not a bacon-and-eggs continental breakfast, but still breakfast.
