Park Inn Oslo

The hotel itself was basic, but clean and comfortable, with a very good location and good breakfast. The start of our stay was frustrating, though. We arrived at 2am and found they had overbooked, so there was no room for us on the first night. They sent us to another property in the same chain outside the city. At that hour, having to go elsewhere was bad enough, and they hadn't warned us in advance. We could have saved over an hour by going straight to the replacement hotel. We booked through the Radisson app partly to avoid this kind of problem, which I associate more with third party booking sites.

The location was very convenient, and the staff were friendly. WiFi worked quickly and reliably. The room had little storage space, with few shelves for clothes, and there was no fridge or safe. Its temperature was hard to adjust, and the bathroom door stuck so badly it took a hard push to open. Breakfast variety felt limited by Norwegian standards.

The location in central Oslo was good, and the service was good too. The room felt dated, especially the bathroom, which could use renovation. It's an okay hotel for a budget one-night stay, but don't expect anything modern or fancy. The hotel could use some modernization.

The location was good, but the room was too basic even for Norway. As a premium member, I was denied an upgrade. I also couldn't adjust the thermostat myself. Reception said they had changed it after I called, but the room got even colder. Checkout was a disappointment too: I was overcharged, and the receptionist couldn't reverse the charge. The staff seemed less than qualified.
