The property is well located and has nice facilities, but during our four-night stay the owner's behavior made it hard to relax. He didn't seem very helpful and appeared too focused on money. We also felt he was watching us often, which made us uncomfortable. We weren't given extra help or services. Even when carrying water was difficult for us, we were told to carry it ourselves. The owner said there were no staff available and guests had to adjust. Better communication, hospitality and support for guests would make a big difference.

The owner was rude, condescending and no help at all when we arrived. We'd called the day before, and the gate was wide open. We only wanted to look around and get some information, but were threatened with being kicked out over even the smallest noise. They gave a bizarre example about throwing someone out for making a sound. It was extreme and completely uncalled for. I've never had a worse experience. Don't even consider this place, no matter how it looks.

We stayed for three nights in September, my husband and I, and had a wonderful time. It was really quiet and we enjoyed it a lot. It may feel expensive if you're traveling on a budget, but I thought it was worth it. 😊

The host was so friendly that he even let us pick peaches from his yard. The sunsets were stunning, and it was wonderfully quiet. Shops are an easy walk away, and the road with buses to Kathmandu is just 3-5 minutes on foot. The internet was good, and we had everything we needed: utensils, a gas stove, refrigerator, air conditioning and TV, though the TV wasn't included))).

Out on the edge of Kathmandu, this is a lovely home-away-from-home kind of place. It's a peaceful, green retreat from the rush of everyday life, with a nice sense of happiness to it.
