A peaceful, quiet place with beautiful rooms. The staff are attentive and provide good service. Seems perfect for events and corporate meetings. I’d recommend a visit.

The Japanese cuisine is nice, and the hotel also serves Nepali food. With its courtyard and aesthetic rooms, the place has the feel of a historic Rana Palace and is quite peaceful. It used to be Kaze durbar and is now Hukum durbar. Good for smaller functions of 50-100 person.

The grounds were so peaceful, a lovely place to meditate and reconnect with yourself. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and our room was clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant has American, Nepali, and Japanese dishes. Hotel Kaze Darbar was amazing, and we plan to stay there again on future trips to Kathmandu.

The staff were friendly and honest, and the restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including local Neapali cuisine. The hotel is well preserved, with traditional architecture and a calm setting, in a great spot for exploring Thamel. Rooms echo the building’s historic character while offering modern amenities for comfort.

It feels like a home, with an old look inspired by Rana durbars, and they promote organic products and food. The property is nice but a bit small, and set somewhat back from the main road. The food tastes good, though the menu needs improvement.
