We were cycling from Kathmandu to Pokhara when we stayed here for one night, and wished we could have stayed longer. The family is sweet, the price is very reasonable, and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. We ate all our meals there, including their own coffee, papaya and honey, all tasty, especially the honey made with coffee. The Himalaya views are incredible. We’d happily return soon and highly recommend it.

Stopped by for coffee and breakfast, and loved the down to earth feel, the friendly owner, and the affordable food. The coffee is great, grown, roasted and brewed right there, so you can sip it while looking out over the coffee plants. Try the honey too, it has a really unique taste. Love this spot.

The owner speaks English very well and truly cares about guests. It’s a lovely place with a wonderful mountain range view, and the homemade food and coffee are delicious. I’d happily recommend staying here or just stopping in for coffee or lunch. :)

I spent six lovely days here, and as a solo traveler I really appreciate family run places. This family was warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to help with everything I needed. My room was very clean, and the view of the lake and mountains from my little balcony was breathtaking. They grow their own coffee and you can see the different stages of processing the beans. The coffee is simply the best, and everything on the menu tastes good. Lonely Planet doesn’t hand out a star easily, and I can see why this place got one. It’s special in every way. My highest recommendation.

Begnas tal is a great place to stay, with wonderful views of the lake and green hills. The staff are friendly and easy to approach, the room is comfortable, and the coffee is very nice. I didn’t eat there, so can’t comment on the food, though the menu looked good.
