Hotel Bishram

We were honest about our plan from the start, but the owner still demanded more money the next day. Three of us from India wanted to share a two-bedroom hotel room to keep costs down, and we told the manager beforehand. He agreed, so everything seemed fine until the owner, a madam, confronted us and insisted we pay the fee for three people. It felt like a betrayal of trust and an attempt to exploit us. It was deeply frustrating and disheartening to be treated with such greed and unfairness when we were just trying to manage within our means. People deserve better, and we want others to know how this went so they can avoid the same trap.

The manager was great, and the young staff were good too. I stayed in a twin room without an ensuite at a nice price, especially since Pokhara costs more than most of Nepal. The room was a little dated but totally fine, and the small shared bathroom was well fitted. Rooms with AC cost more, so keep that in mind for summer. I'd recommend the place, but I'd enforce quiet hours more strictly. Some guests in the car park were noisy until midnight, then started again at 7am.

This was the worst hotel we got in Pokhara. At checkout, they raised the price by 1.5 times. When we asked why, they argued and gave us completely random bullshits, and in the end we had to pay the extra amount. The staff were so rude. Definitely not recommended.

It's in the best part of town. I paid 1500 for a deluxe room with two beds, a bath, TV, and hot water. It's a little ghetto, but for the price I can't complain.
