The room had a nice view, and the apartment worked for our family. Having laundry on site was useful. But we’re still waiting for our security deposit. They said it was refunded the day we left, and nothing has come through. They also charged $80 for linen after my daughter vomited on it. If I’d known it would cost that much, I would have used the on-site laundry. The microwave caught fire too, and reception didn’t seem to care when I reported it. I left a note on it for the next guest so they wouldn’t use it.

We’re here with all 11 of our family for the Jehovah Wittness Special Convention, from the 8th -11th of January. Things have been going really well so far, and the staff are great and professional. We’re enjoying our stay at Empire Apartments, thank you so much! One disappointment, though, is that I still haven’t received my deposit back. I was told it would take 3 working business days. Since they haven’t kept to that, I had to lower my stars.

David and the team made us feel welcome, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Empire Apartments is handy for the city and universities, so it was easy to get around. I found it pleasant for the price, with good value for students or anyone after budget accommodation in central Auckland. Thank you, Manger David and Team.

The staff are really friendly, and I’m happy with my stay. It’s quite affordable compared with other places, with all bills included. There’s a large living room and separate spaces in the common areas.

A good choice for a cheap, central one-night stay. The rooms were fairly clean, and reception were friendly and helpful. It’s about what you’d expect for the price.
