Jolene and Andrew made our West Coast trip richer. At check-in, Jolene welcomed us and gave us an orientation to the property, along with a very helpful rundown of things to see and do in the region. That evening, we shared a barbecue dinner with the owners, prepared by Andrew. The generous meal of roast, potatoes, vegetables and dessert came with marvelous conversation. Our room was comfortable, clean and stocked with modern conveniences. My husband and I would highly recommend Goldfield Suites, hosted by these delightful owners.

Andrew and Jolene looked after us extremely well and made our stay memorable. The suite was very comfortable and well appointed, and both dinner and breakfast were superb. A truly wonderful place to stay on the West Coast of NZ. I highly recommend Goldfield Suites.

A calm, beautiful place just outside town, and we wished our one night at Goldfield Suites could have been longer. Our room was ready when we arrived, with the necessities, coffee and tea, plus a delicious little sweet treat. There were lots of homey touches, and you can tell Jolene and Andrew put their heart and soul into the place. We shared a wonderful home-cooked dinner with the hosts and two other couples, with smoked meats, fresh vegetables and great wine. In the morning we had coffee and breakfast together before heading south down the coast. Jolene and Andrew had plenty of recommendations for things to see and do nearby, which we really appreciated. In our experience, locals know best. If you get the chance, we highly recommend staying here. Thanks again, Jolene and Andrew.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the surroundings were lovely. Andrew and Jolene are creating a warm, homely place for guests, and you can tell they're putting their heart into this calm little piece of paradise. The breakfast was delicious, and they even accommodated our early departure. We had wonderful conversations too. The only downside was that our stay was too short. Thank you.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal with Jolene, Andrew and the other guests. It was a wonderful visit, and a pleasure to meet them. Highly recommend adding this gem to your South Island trip itinerary. You'll be glad you did.
