Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas

I wasn’t sure about the place when my partner booked it, but in person it’s much cuter and cozier than the photos suggest. We stayed both before and after our five-day trek, and it felt like home. The garden is a lovely place to relax, the whole property is clean, and the Wi-Fi is strong. Breakfast is simple but has the things you need: tea, coffee, fresh juice, local protein, bread, ham, avocado, milk, fruit, and cereal. Most of all, the staff are genuinely friendly, and I really appreciate how well they run the place. We just left Cusco yesterday and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting. 🧡

A few hours before my flight, I realized I’d left my phone in a taxi and started to panic. Carmen and the front desk team immediately contacted the driver and coordinated its return. They stayed calm and handled everything so efficiently that I had my phone back quickly and still made my flight. I’m very grateful for their help. The hotel is also clean and peaceful, with a cozy feel and warm traditional details that bring out the spirit of Cusco. The rooms are comfortable, the classic design is tasteful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. My experience at Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas was memorable because of the lovely surroundings and, especially, the staff’s kindness and professionalism under pressure. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco.

There are celebrations and fireworks at the nearby Plaza at random hours, which was the one downside. Otherwise, it’s a good value stay with comfortable beds, useful amenities, a solid breakfast, and helpful staff.

The rooms are very comfortable, and breakfast was just right. The staff are consistently top notch too. The location is the big draw: close enough to things, but just far enough from the busy center.
