Jenmac's Resort

The location was great and the amenities were okay, but the room was a cramped setup for eight people: two queen beds, one full bathroom, and no trash can. We were told it could accommodate eight, which made us expect more space. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, so the room stayed warm during a hot summer month. Extra guests got worn-out mattresses, and they were charging Php5000 a night. Eight people sharing one bathroom is a lot. The billiard table also needs new cue sticks, and both the service and advertising need improvement. I’ll say it again, an airconditioned room is not a family room. It was bad enough that we left after one night, even though we’d planned to book two. We didn’t want another night feeling cramped and uncomfortable.

We rented the place for 22 hours, but during our stay a staff member put chlorine in the pool, so we couldn’t use it that night. We had to wait until 5am, with checkout at 8am. That should have been done before or after our booked stay.

The atmosphere was lovely and family friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the staff were extremely accommodating, and the management was very friendly. I’d highly recommend it.

We were told that overnight swimming was allowed, so we traveled five hours from Manila to Tagaytay. Once we arrived, we found out they only allow swimming until 11pm. Thanks for wasting our time.
