Honey Hunt House

The room was dirty and smelly, with cockroaches, especially in the bathroom, where they swarmed overnight. There were lots of strict rules: no eating in the room, no visitors, and no anything. Staff were rude and unavailable, except for the man guarding the door at night.

Hotel warning, avoid if you can. Outside food isn't allowed in the rooms. They charge 250pesos for each bedsheet stain, whether it's washable or not, and don't provide a receipt. Basic amenities were poor too: no hot water, slow Wi-Fi, and parking was just the street sidewalk. If you have to stay, record everything, especially the bedsheets. The stain charges feel like a scam.

The staff were really nice, and the rooms were passable. My mother and I stayed for a while because it was close to the school I’m studying at. It’s an okay place, but it felt like an old house with rooms added for guests. There’s potential here, even as a budget hotel. Better ventilation and some tidying and care could make it a lot prettier.

The Wi-Fi was fast, which helped me keep in touch and get some work done. I stayed at Honey Hunt House for a day, and the room suited a solo traveler like me, with a good amount of space. The bathroom felt cramped for someone my size, so I had to be careful moving around, but I still enjoyed a relaxing bath. A decent, simple budget stay.
