The promo offer is the one good thing here, and the hotel is right in the heart of the city. Everything else was awful. The remote didn’t work, the old plumbing made the water smell nasty when we first turned it on, and the drain was clogged. The worst part was customer service, which is usually what I look forward to. The receptionist didn’t smile and nearly made us pay twice because she couldn’t find our booking confirmation. Luckily I check my bank transactions online, so I knew the payment had gone through. That confirmation number is proof a customer successfully booked. Don’t try to fool your customers. I’m sure you’d have used the no-refunds excuse if I’d let you charge me again. Pffftttt....

The rooms are modest, and the old bathrooms are still cozy. For the price, it’s more than worth it. The location is excellent, right in the center of Cebu, with schools, review centers, and tourist spots just a short walk away.

It’s close to the city and has two parking spaces, but it’s only good for a quick stay. The family room is near the road and noisy at night, and the free breakfast has just three choices. The room smelled pungent, the TV remote was defective, and there was no hanging rack in the bathroom. The toilet cistern was faulty, the kettle was filthy, and the shower had no hot water. There was even some sand in the water. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids.

You get what you pay for. The room was generally clean, and there’s cable TV and free breakfast. The air conditioner is old, so it takes a while to cool the room. The bathroom needs a lot of work, though. It’s too small, and the shower head was rusty.

The price seems to reflect what you get. It’s a very basic hotel, but handy for the local markets. Rooms are small, hot water isn’t always available, and the restaurant is currently closed.
