Seaside Hue Resort

We spent four nights and five days here with friends. The place was clean and spacious, and the price felt worthwhile for the privacy and beach view. Our room was for six, though it could fit eight, and had lockers and two bathrooms. The rooms are only a few meters from the beach, away from the public entrance, so there weren’t outsiders swimming there. Lifeguards were on standby. There’s a variety of food on the menu, with dishes to share or eat on your own, and mad monkey is nearby if you want to party in the evening. Mobile reception is limited, which makes it easier to enjoy nature. It’s a good spot for adventure and relaxation, and I’ll be back.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and this is the nicest place we’ve stayed so far, despite the 3 Star review. It’s new and clean, on one of the nicest stretches of Nacpan Beach. There are small cottages with AC, hot water, comfortable beds, and nice towels, plus larger family rooms. Breakfast is included, and there’s a restaurant and a store selling cold beer and drinks. Power has generator backup, but if the power goes out the generator runs only limited hours. Globe 3G worked, but Smart didn’t. I’d definitely return. At the time of my review, in April 2018, cottages were P2200, though I could see the price rising as they were still adding to the resort.

The rooms are new and well kept, and the outside is really colorful. This is a great place to stay on Nacpan beach, at the end of the dirt road past Sunmai and Glamping. The beachfront is near the old port. Breakfast was so-so, so don’t expect much, especially with food in Nacpan and El Nido being expensive.

Seaside Hue is right on Nacpan Beach, with Sunmai Restaurant about a five-minute walk away. There aren’t many hotels or hostels directly on the beach, so it’s a pretty good choice if you want an affordable, comfortable place with the beach right at your doorstep. We arrived around 10pm and the staff did a great job checking us in at short notice. We stayed one night in a clean, spacious mixed dorm and were lucky to be the only two guests in it. One surprise was that there were no free drinking water refills, just bottled mineral water for sale. There’s no WiFi, and cell service doesn’t work at Nacpan beach.
