The location made this weekend trip so easy. I was in the city centre, a two-minute walk from the main sightseeing attractions, but the hotel isn’t on a busy road. My room faced away from the traffic too, so I slept really well. It had everything I needed: clean, comfortable, spacious, with tea, water, and towels. Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from, both hot and cold, plus tea, coffee, and juices. The staff were so helpful. Their advice got me to a tram stop for the seaside, just a 20-minute ride away, and I had an unforgettable time there. They also recommended Dominikanska Restaurant, a five-minute walk away, where I had a delicious Polish home cooked dinner in a cosy setting. I had to travel to Gdansk for a Saturday-to-Sunday weekend and stayed at Willa Biata Lilia. It was the most stress free 48 hours I’d had in ages, and at the best price you can get. Thank you, Willa BIata Lilia!

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the hotel is right in the middle of Gdańsk. It’s on a side street, quiet enough to get away from the main roads but close to restaurants, with one just a 45-second walk away. Neptune's statue is four minutes on foot, so you don’t need scooters or cabs for most sights. It’s an older hotel with a well lived in feel. My room was clean and came with a hot water kettle, instant coffee, tea, and two bottles of water. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, but the bed was somewhat uncomfortable. My window had no curtains or blinds, and sunrise is at 4:30 AM. From outside, all the other windows seemed to have blinds, so it may have just been my room. With curtains, I’d rate it four stars. I got the sense they had a rushed reopening after COVID restrictions lifted, during a holiday weekend. The manager and receptionist were both helping clean rooms. Street parking is limited, but there’s plenty of nearby paid parking, especially just west of the hotel over the bridge. There’s no AC, elevator, or safe. There is a TV, included WiFi, and an included hot breakfast starting around 9am, with scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cuts, cheese, coffee, and more.

A decent spot for one night, with a low price and the sort of basics you’d expect for what you pay. Breakfast was good, though there wasn’t much choice, just bacon, eggs, and sausage. The shower pressure was strong, and the receptionist was friendly. Breakfast was the highlight.

The location and nightly price are good, and breakfast is generous. The staff are quite nice, and it’s not far from the city centre. I’d give it 4 out of 5. I was a bit disappointed that they only have double beds, with no twin option, and there’s no elevator for people with special needs.

The hotel is in a prime spot, very near the old town and just opposite Novotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. They’re a bit strict about check-in time, but reception is available 24 hours for early checkouts.
