FLORA Chiado Apartments

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They arranged car service, answered our questions, and made the stay so pleasant. The apartment was clean, stylish, and well kept, with a kitchen full of things for cooking. Because of covid, breakfast and snack items were in the fridge, handy whenever we wanted something. Every morning, fresh-baked bread arrived in a bag on our doorknob. There are restaurants all around, and public transport is easy to catch. The next street over was busy at night, but our own street was quiet. We had space to relax, which was better than being in a hotel room. If you want somewhere to unwind while seeing Lisbon, stay here. I highly recommend Flora Chiado Apartments.

Rita at the front desk and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our four-night stay perfect. My wife, daughter, and I were in the one-bedroom apartment. It was modern, clean, ideally located, and great value. We had a great experience at Flora and recommend it 100%. I’ve been a Marriott traveler for a long time and had been considering the Ivens. I’m so glad we chose Flora instead. It’s literally one block away and gives a family much more space for better value. Don’t hesitate to book, it feels like a home away from home.

The apartment was great, and so were the staff and location. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and powerful A/C in every room. The huge modern kitchen had a normal-sized fridge stocked with two shelves of food included in the rate. Milk and oranges for juicing were included too. Fresh bread rolls arrived each morning in a bag on the doorknob. The location gets an A+, on a quiet side street off Rua Garrett, with Bertrand, the oldest bookshop in the world, on the corner. Staff get an A+ as well. Lighting was the one downside. Every room except the bright hallway and kitchen was poorly lit. It felt like design came first and practicality last. The tiny bedside and desk lamps barely gave off any light, and the living area had a huge domed fixture with very dim bulbs. Overhead lighting would’ve made it much easier to read. The bedside lights weren’t very practical either.

The staff were super friendly, and the apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was excellent, with everything nearby. We loved the freshly baked bread and croissants delivered to the apartment every morning. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back next time. Thanks for a great stay in Lisbon!
