ibis Lisboa Centro Saldanha

The staff were rather nice, and the location works well for sightseeing. The room itself was okay, a fairly clean, typical refurbished Ibis room. But the walls are so thin you can hear every word from the neighbors, and there was a strange smell in the room. TV mirroring, YouTube, and Netflix didn’t work at all because the TV wasn’t connected to Wi-Fi.

I’ve been a loyal Accor customer for years, and this place was a real surprise. The room and bed were comfortable, and every staff member was so polite, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend!

The room was basic but had what we needed. There were only paper cups and no kettle, though you can get things from the bar downstairs, which stays open 24 hours. The coffee was fabulous. We didn’t try the inexpensive breakfast buffet. The room and public spaces were exceptionally clean, and the marketing materials and room, lobby, and bar amenities had a clever, whimsical design. We chose Ibis Saldanha for its value and because being outside the city centre suited us. There’s a nearby Metro station, but we used Uber and Bolt since they’re convenient and inexpensive. Lidl is right across the street, Continente Bom Dia is around the corner, and a shopping mall is a few blocks away. Great Lebanese and Indian restaurants are across the street, with the fabulous Atithi about a block away, plus other shops and cafes nearby. The Ibis team were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Carla, our cleaner, was so nice and did an amazing job. Thanks to Bruno, Diogo, Rita, and the others. We’d definitely stay here again on another Lisbon visit. For the price, I can’t think of a major complaint.

We felt at ease from the time we arrived, thanks to the genuinely welcoming and attentive service. The spotless room was well cared for and comfortable, just right for unwinding after a long day. The location is ideal, close to everything but still peaceful. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Highly recommend.
