Residencial Ideal

The hostess was friendly and the location decent, but the setup called a “private bathroom” was really just a toilet and shower corner inside the room, divided by shower-corner-style walls. We couldn’t wait long enough for the water to get warm. There was chatter and children screaming behind the door until midnight, plus plenty of traffic noise through the night. The basic spring mattress on the double bed was too short even for me at 6ft. Fine for a quick overnight alone, I guess.

The one thing that matched reality was the location. The TV area wasn’t there, and although I’d booked a room with a private toilet for three nights, I spent the first two in a room without one. Then they made me switch rooms, saying there were too many people and the dates had been extended, even though I booked a month ahead. Awful management, and almost everything was poor quality. There was mold in the rooms, lots of noise coming in, a rusty shower with barely any water pressure, and the “kitchen” looked like a nearly abandoned house. The woman who welcomed us was nice, but didn’t even say hello in Portuguese. The number that had been contacting me only stayed available until check-in day. After that, I only got a reply reminding me I had to change rooms. I stayed because it was already paid for. Sad and disappointing. I definitely won’t return.

I was disappointed with the stay, especially since it wasn’t cheap. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and showering soaked everything. The listing photos showed a toilet in the bathroom, but there wasn’t one when we arrived. The window curtain was broken, so they gave us just a sheet to use as a makeshift replacement. It didn’t live up to what had been promised.
