This lovely 17th-century summer house has been turned into a hotel with five bedrooms. It’s well placed for reaching three university campuses, and there’s a lake and a walking path nearby that’s nice for a morning run.

Maybe we picked the wrong day, because they had none of the things shown in the photos, just focaccias. I found the food pretty thoughtless. The place itself is lovely, but the food was whatever, so I wouldn’t come back just for the setting.

Such a lovely spot right in the city. On a sunny day, it’s a dream!

We stopped by on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The outdoor seating is really cozy, especially the raised deck behind the cafe. A friendly woman served us, but the coffee and pies were forgettable. The cappuccino tasted like it came from an all-in-one machine, and both the blueberry and apple pies tasted like supermarket ones.

There’s lots to explore here, with different rooms and spots, and the atmosphere is beautiful. The outdoor tent was especially cozy, and the service was friendly. The food was okay but nothing special. I was disappointed that all the dishes and cutlery were disposable paper.
