The room was tiny, the shower was clogged, and street noise came straight through the poorly insulated windows, so sleeping was impossible. On top of all that, there were bed bugs. The stay was unbearable, uncomfortable, noisy, and unhygienic. Definitely not worth the money. I rarely leave reviews, but this was a terrible experience.

The room was quite small, with the bed taking up almost all the space, though the location was nice. The service was awful, and the room quality wasn’t great. We never received our room number by email, as they usually send it, so we had to call the emergency number. They were supposed to send it, but nothing came through. We tried calling again and nobody answered, leaving us stuck outside for an hour and a half. It seems this kind of chaos may be normal: other guests who saw us offered help and said they’d seen the same thing happen to others. Once someone finally answered, we got the room number and code.

For one night, it’s fine if you’re trying to save money in Stockholm, but don’t expect luxuries. The location is very good, right in the city’s historic centre. Reception is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you’re checking in, let them know in advance so they can send you the codes. I spent two days trying to get in touch, but eventually they sent them. There’s coffee, tea, and water by the entrance for guests.

I don't get the negative reviews. We had a double room with a window and our own bathroom for €60 for two nights. In Stockholm, that price can mean a shared hostel room out on the edge of town, but this place is right in the old town, about a five-minute walk from Slussen metro. The code based check-in by email made arriving whenever we wanted easy. Free water and coffee were especially welcome after a night out. Such a good deal, I'd definitely return.
